How to Read a Signal

09/19/2026
Fundamentals7 min

Key takeaways

  • Read direction, entry, mark price and stop
  • Use the leverage selector
  • Terminal Log holds the history

The top of the card

The header shows the pair (BTC/USDT) and a status: LIVE means the signal is open right now, CLOSED or STOP LOSS HIT means it is finished. Next to it you see the current price and the change from the previous period.

The direction badge

LONG (EMF detection) profits when price rises. SHORT (EMP detection) profits when price falls. The footer tells you when the signal was triggered, for example “EMP Triggered: 18/09/2026 20:00”.

The four numbers

  • ENTRY – the price where the signal was fired. This is the price you want to enter at.
  • MARK PRICE – the current market price for the position.
  • STOP LOSS – where the signal is closed if the market goes against it (about -3% from entry).
  • PROFIT – the running result in percent, including leverage.

The chart

The mini chart shows the price path since entry. The dashed line is the entry level, the dot on the curve is where the signal entered, and the pulse at the end is the current price. On closed signals you see the full path to the close instead.

Choose your leverage

The selector above the chart switches the profit view between SPOT, 7x and 17x. The signal does not change – a -3% move is roughly -3% at spot, about -21% at 7x and about -51% at 17x. Decide your leverage before you enter.

Closed signals and Terminal Log

When the opposite signal fires, the position is closed and moved to Terminal Log with the final result. There you can pick a month and see every signal from that period, including stop loss hits.

A quick example

Signal: SHORT at 80,862 with stop loss 83,279. Price falls to 78,000 – the short is in profit. Price instead rises to 83,279 – the stop loss is hit and the trade is closed with about -3%. Either way you know your risk before you click.

LONG, SHORT, BUY, SELL

The card says LONG or SHORT. In plain terms: LONG = buy and SHORT = sell. On futures you can follow both directions. On spot, a SHORT is your exit. Full explanation in Buy or sell? Long and short in plain terms.
